today i installed an induction kit on my 95 corsa sri 1.4 16v when i did this and turned her over the engine managment light started flashing has any one got any ideas what this might be?

You may have disconnected a plug on the sensor or it may be picking up increased airflow and think there is a problem.

Sounds like you might have disconnected / damaged your mass air flow sensor. This is part of the emission system. A flashing lght means you have a problem that could cause damage

Did the kit eliminate any sensors or did you forget to plug some back in?

it could be your maff sensor, if you use oil on the filter it can damage the hot film detection on the MAFF, but you would have to put way to much on to damage it.
