Republicans running in the primary constantly reference Reagan and want to serve as he did. Last time I checked, two Bushes have served after Reagan. Why do they avoid the subject of Bush? Would they like to serve as Bush has?

Sorry, Johnny, but even Reagan wasn't a TRUE conservative. He only looks like one by comparison to the Bushes, but in fact he was the first neocon because he started the borrow-and-spend approach that's been out of hand ever since then.

Anyway, if you were a Republican candidate, would you want to be associated with either Bush? I'd sooner change parties.

Because Reagan is a legend. Both Bushes will be in the future. They will be recognized for fighting and defeating terrorists across the globe. Off course that's the complete opposite of the last dem we had who ran from all the world's problems and hung out in the oval office mostly....

Reagen is considered by most as one of the top 10 presidents. Neither Bush is listed.

They refer to Reagan because he was a TRUE conservative. GWB is not because of his spending practices and some of the other policies he supports (Dubai ports and immigration come immediatley to mind). Reagan was also a good diplomat to other countries. Bush may be the most hated man in the world.....Osama included.

The GOP will throw up any achievable street block to defeat Obama in 2012. The deficit is a extensive difficulty that would desire to be solved, and directly, and it will take accountable movements on the two sides to end it. Demagoguery and self-serving agendas won't get it accomplished.

Because Reagan was the last conservative.

But this is fun. Ask another.

Regan is now better liked than ever. Bush's approval is falling drastically. But you knew that already.
