I think so. Unless you were under 18, there's no reason age should matter. PCOS is a fine reason to want Clomid.

i don't see why not, if your in a relationship and your trying for a baby there's no harm in it at all. (i actually think the sooner you start the better really if you have fertility prob as you never know how far your going to have to go with it i.e ivf etc)

get your Dr to refer to a gynaecologist say you've been trying for a baby for more than a year with the same partner and you know you have pcos and you need help (with conceiving)

it's nothing to do with your Dr really the gyno (gynaecologist will actually prescribe it anyway) good luck xx

been there and done that. first you didn't mention if you were married. i hate to say it but most dr's wait awhile. i have had the same dr for 6 years and we just decided to do clomid. and i have pcos. there are a ton of more test that they will run.. i have paid thousands of dollars. and the sad option is invetro. talk to your dr. that is the only way. besides clomid you will be put on other meds too. good luck

i was 21 when the doctor precribed it. the only thing that mattered to my doctor was that i had tried naturally to have a baby for over a year. it wouldnt hurt to ask... or see if you can get a referral to an infertility clinic.....

You've been having unprotected sex since 15? I sure hope docs won't prescribe it, for the sake of your future child.

If physicians handed out fertility drugs like candy to any teen or young adult who asked, the country would be filled with fatherless children. Already at least 50%+ of babies are now being born to single parent households.

I'm not saying you have to get married, but I would highly suggest finding a man who'll agree and commit to supporting you and your future baby for the next 18yrs....BEFORE you try to conceive. Fact is, few men want to have a baby with a woman they aren't married to and you don't want to put your future child in the middle of a bad situation.

well he should.Your an adult now and i had it given to me and im only 23.Goodluck and if he dont then go and see another doctor who will.

Just because your only 20 dont mean you wont love and protect a child any less than someone who is 30.
