Okay this is what the directions say "Writers often combine and rearrange kernel ideas in variety of ways before they make a decision about sentence sense. Using the kernel ideas given to you, combine and/or rearrange them two different ways. Choose the important ideas to combine and rearrange." So could someone please help me. Okay this is what it says
1.Brett was my best friend. He borrowed many of my Cds. I have a large CD collection. He rarely returned them.

2. Leila has strong arm muscles. She plays for the Madison Mischeif. She lifts weights.

3.Frank's mom is a meteorologist. She likes tornadoes. This is dangerous work.

Here's a sample answer for the first one, "Brett was my best friend. He borrowed many of my Cds. I have a large CD collection. He rarely returned them."

a. My best friend Brett borrowed many CDs from my large collect, but he rarely returned them.

b. Though Brett was my best friend, he rarely returned the many CDs he borrowed from my large collection.

Note how the revised sentences combine several short sentences into a coherent message.

2. Leila plays for the Madison Mischief. She has strong muscles, and can lift heavy weights.

3. Frank's mom is a meteorologist. Even if it's a dangerous work, she's keen on tornadoes.
