He's still an UFA, but the Canes will not try to resign him. WE have too many forwards and not enough D, and he's really not very good. We're also over budget this year already (lower then the cap though...)

When Anson Carter played in Vancouver with the Sedins he should of stayed. The Sedins made him that year and since he left what has he done? nothing....He should be lucky if he remains with Carolina....I wouldn't want him if I was a GM

Carter has been invited to the Oilers training camp.

He may sign with them. If not, keep an eye on Vancouver to try to have him back with the Sedin brothers.

He was invited to Oilers training camp so most likely he will be an Oiler. He is a free agent and Carolina could get him back.
