the more i see these soccer/football questions the more evident it becomes how rare soccer fans are in the US. this is the third UNANSWERED one that's spent at least two hours on the board.

I live only 1500 miles away from LA , and I only recently heard of them. If it wasnt for all the noise about Beckham and the huge salary, I probably still wouldnt have heard of them.
