f(x)= 2x2 - 7x+3 find f(2)
subtitute x for 2.
f(x=2) = 2(2)^2 - 7(2) + 3
f(2) = 2*4 - 14 + 3
f(2) = 8 - 14 + 3 = -3

IF -3 replaced into +3 we could merely comparable different yet now we cant delta=40 9-(4*2*-3)=seventy 3 2 solutions are => x1=(+7+sqareroot(seventy 3))/2 and the different x2=(+7-sqareroot(seventy 3))/2 so in simplified we would desire to continuously write (x-x1)(x-x2)=0 if question is 2x^2-7x+3=0 we've A=(2x )(2x ) then (2x-6)(2x-a million) so A=(x-3)(2x-a million) the solutions are=> x=3 & x=a million/2

is it f(x)=2x^2-7x+3 or F(x)=...?
if its f(x) you just plug in a 2 to the x which will give you -3
2(2)^2-7(2)+3 = -3

Hi,
f(2) means to let x = 2, so your equation becomes:
f(x) = 2x² -7x + 3
Substitute 2 for x.
f(2) = 2(2)² -7(2) + 3
f(2) = 2(4) - 7(2) + 3
f(2) = 8 - 14 + 3
f(2) = -6 + 3
f(2) = -3
So the answer is -3.
I hope that helps!! :-)

x = 2, plug it in and solve
it's like saying 3x + 4, if x = 2
you would do 3 x 2 + 4 = 10
