Are they're any Anime shows that have really scared you?
(Especially when you were younger)

I was scared of Inuyasha for a while...because i happened to turn it on when there was like a demon killing someone... o__O;;
Um... I was also scared of Reign: The Conqueror... >__>;;
And...last but not least....Digimon: The Movie... o__o;;
I actually went and saw it in Theaters....
lol it scared the crap out of me....
And my mom just went to sleep through the whole thing.... =___=;;

If you want to see scary, "don't view at night" series then watch the following anime (contains gore and horror):
Elfen Lied - This anime is very gory and scary
Ghost Hunt - This is the anime version of " The X-Files" Also, out of all of the horror animes I've seen this one can really freak you out if you watch it at night.
Jigoku Shōjo - similar to Elfen Lied and Death Note
Devil May Cry - this series is like Cowboy Bebop, but with more horror, gore and action
Akira - its more weird than scary, but at the time that I saw it
( back when I was around 10yrs old) it was really scary.

Lawz. I agree with Reign: The Conqueror. It wasn't like it was frightening, but the artwork creeped me out.
There haven't been any anime that's really made me jump, but Higurashi no Naku Koro ni gives me shivers sometimes when they are doing some of the more shocking violence.
I still love reading other people's comments about this series, they make me laugh. Here are some:
"This thing is like ABSOLUTE HORROR~ psycho maniacs... goodness sakes i had night mares after watching this... this thing is Very scary.... i finished til 12 episodes...(can't continue)"
"im still gonna go on after i stop having these crazy *** nightmares"
This series is giving people nightmares, rofl.

Of the animes I have watched so far, none have really "scared" me (like a horror flick). A lot of people I know say Gantz was a very scarey anime. I found that quite odd, since I find it as just a bad anime that used gore, violence and perversion to garner attention to their weak plot.

Well... not much really. Perhaps Elfen Lied. I was never a fan of overly gory anime.
There's actually one other anime that I find scarier but you probably wouldn't like to hear about it.

then... Disturbed? Elfen Lied, Neon genesis and also hellsing Ultimate also FLCL < because it was so whack lol

not so much as scared... but was... idk how to say it. ive never been seriously scared of an anime...
though... death note.... yeah... i wasnt scared but it really had me like... scared? like i was always wondering what would happen and my heart would beat reeeeally fast when i watched it. well, whenever light was close to being caught i got sooo scared. like heart attack scared! lol!!

Really, no anime scares me. I either went "Oooooh..." or "COOL!!!" or "...so sad... *sob* " or "You freakin' idiot!! *gone mad* " and some other things...
...Besides, is there such thing as horror anime movie/series?
