Analyze how the enviroment has influenced cultures around the world?

You should take a multi-disciplinary approach. Analyze how the environment (either good or bad, or even better-both) has had important consequences on countries economically, socially, and politically. I don't know your level of schooling, or even if you need a specific theoretical framework to guide your thesis statement.

You can talk briefly about historical examples, how early civilizations became expansive agricultural systems and learned to harnass their climates. You could also talk about current countries, giving some examples around the world. You could examine 2 or 3 specific regions and give 2 brief country case studies of each. Discussing the affect that monsoons have on Asia as a region is a good start.

The Dictionary defines Thesis as:
1)A proposition that is maintained by argument.
2)A dissertation advancing an original point of view as a result of research, especially as a requirement for an academic degree.
3)A hypothetical proposition, especially one put forth without proof.

Knowing this it is easier to elaborate on your topic. Consider that every culture is influenced by its environment, culture includes foods, clothing, sports, leisure and religion. How did the environment effect these things in every culture? From there you can build a really nice paper. Hope this helped!
