I am about 3 weeks late on my period this week, so my husband and I went and took a pregnancy test, but it came back negative. So now yesterday I started heavy, clotted bleeding. My normal period is very normal, light for 4 or 5 days, and this has been SUPER heavy, dark, and clotty. I have also been very nauseous and especilly to certain smells...Could this be a sign of a miscarriage, or could something else be wrong, or is this just a normal menstrual cycle and heavier or something?

I had a miscarriage, and then slightly one no longer lengthy after, then yet another miscarriage. pondering i replaced into informed i'd never get pregnant, I seen that one a blessing. 2 years later i pass pregnant back, and we had a great time and idea we'd want to never get pregnant back. Then #3 replaced into born 18 months after #2...WOW! Then #4 replaced into 15 months after #3, then 18 months later #5....we all started wondering it replaced into some type of cosmic comic tale! #6 replaced into born 2 years after #5, and volume seven (we call her seven of 7) replaced into born 2 years after #6. My SIL also confronted countless miscarriages, 4 or 5 i imagine, she stopped telling us after a lengthy time period. She were given pregnant about ten years in the past nonetheless, and then popped out 5 in ten years. So we are both extremely thrilled with our little advantages. i'm sorry on your loss, i don't understand what else to allow you to understand except to save your hopes up. I never idea i'd be so blessed, and that i remember lately of dread, each month of praying. 3 weeks late and the test said negative. I would say No this is not misscarriage. I had a misscarriage and i took a preg test 4 days BEFORE my missed period and it was positive. You wouldve had hcg in your system if you were even pregnant in the first place.

i think this could be a miscarriage i jus left the doc off last wkend and heavy blood and clotting are not good signs go check with ur doc to make sure.hope u feel better

You can go to the doctor and find out...i had similar symptoms and they did a blood test and I had the hormone that detects pregnancy, but I was not pregnant.

since you were late and had a negative test that your not pregnant and just experiencing a very heavy period because you skipped one

she you could have been pregnant, just keep an eye on yourself for fevers etc as you could have a infection
