It's fine to wear any color you want if it matches what you are wearing. People don't pay attention as much to the nail colors of the seasons anymore.

Lavender nail polish or any other color is appropriate so long as your attire either matches or accentuates it.

It's okay for both. I heard dark colors are really "in" for the fall as well.
I love lavender (or any other color) with white polka dots! Cute. â¥
