Mother's milk is babies natural food and provides both nutrition and bonding. Some women can't and some don't want to but it is best for the baby if you can do it.
Ask your doctor to recommend a lactation specialist who can explain how and about breast pumps so you can harvest milk for times when you aren't with the baby at feeding time.

My twins are 8 months old and i am still breastfeeding. That's the purpose of breasts, and that's why milk comes out of them after birth. Nature's perfect food for you baby.

You don't HAVE to do it, but it IS the ideal choice for a mother to make. We're mammals. We produce milk. Breastmilk is the best food for babies because it is human milk. No formula on the market can do what breastmilk can, although they all try.

Breastfeeding is when you feed you babies from your breasts. They make milk for them.
