Life itself is confusing. Thinking about the complexity of it all is down right mind blowing. That's probably not what you were talking about...whatever

Depends on what you mean by being baffled. There is being baffled in the negative where you feel disorientated by the realities of the world and then there is where you are amazed and inured of the fact that you are alive and the world actually despite all its horrors is an amazingly beautiful and wondrous place and is a picNmix for our senses.
I leapfrog between both of these states all the time, it often feels like too much and I'm stuck on a sinking ship and am drowning. A total fawning nightmare taking hold of my mind. Then I remind myself that there is nothing wrong with my life and that I indeed am very lucky and that yes as amazing as it is I am alive and i should cherish the reality of that fact.

I dont feel baffled about life..
I am baffled by death..
I sat and thought just yesterday......and I thought
"If we die, is it just like before I was even born?? Nothing?!! A big black nothing?!"
I dont want that!!
I dont want to not...live...again!!
I want it to start over once again, me, a whole different person, being born again.
I got this perception from the book "Elsewhere"
where when you die, you are put on a place called Elsewhere, where you age BACKWARDS until your 7 days old, then you are put back on earth, to be born as a new baby..
Its all very interesting..
Sorry, I think I went the different direction of what you were looking for..
but I needed to get that off my chest too..
because nobody really understands me!!
Oh I hope you do!!
Email me, if you do!

Hey there !
I often sit out in my garden at night looking at the stars thinking the same thing.
I often think that at one point in time our planet , and life, didn't even exist. Humans have evolved over a relatively short space of time and all we seem to want to do is destroy our planet and each other :(
But life is amazing and you and me are part of it - we should feel privileged !
Wow that sounds really deep and meaning full doesn't it !
Take care
Swearly :)

I agree, it is such a scary thought of how minute we actually are in the grand scheme of things, and sometimes feels we dont matter. A good friend of mine told me how to cope with this, because honestly it scared the living crap out of me. The ratio of you to the world, is irrelevant- its the ratio of you to the the people in your life, that matters most. This calmed me down. Also on the upside..if something happens in your life that you cant get your head around..go through this process....how many people in my neighbourhood are going through the same thing?, then..how many people in my city are going through the same thing...then..how many people in my country are going through the same thing...then...the world..it really does help, the problem gets smaller and you learn to think outside the box. Phew that sure helped. Thanks.

I'm baffled about everything! Life, death, why are we here? What are we here for? It seems a complete and utter waste of time to me. Now I'm off to my little part of my brain where bunnies dance, sing and play all day.

Sometimes, 'Yes,' I do feel baffled - because I sometimes see the fragility of life so clearly that I wonder how 'it' ~ how society as an entity ~ manages to continue to hold itself together.
Having said that, I sometimes understand how it works, but lose sight of that ~ as it gets lost in the mists of the circles of life.

Its to do with how you view yourself and how you were taught to view yourself. The reality is different.
Humans are no more special than other animals and in the mix of things are not worth anything at all. If that is how you view things then you will not at all be surprised when you view the big picture.

Nope. It IS- what you experience. If you're a "positive" person, then life is "do-able"; If you're a fearfull one- then it can be scary indeed... -It ALL depends on the "colored glasses" you're looking through. It IS- what YOU make it. :) -And there's MORE choice to that- than you realise...
