No. However, those answerers condemning astrology should take a closer look at the life of Johannes Kepler.
What is science? Science in the broadest sense, refers to any systematic knowledge or practice. In this sense, astrology may be included. However, in a more restricted sense, science refers to a system of acquiring knowledge based on the scientific method, as well as to the organized body of knowledge gained through such research. The definition of science is "knowledge attained through study or practice," or "knowledge covering general truths of the operation of general laws, especially as obtained and tested through scientific method and concerned with the physical world."
Astrology is not a science. It is similar to the study of medicine, it is an art based on a science.
Scientific observations, measurements and calculations are used in astrology to generate the framework for meaningful, symbolic patterns and astrologers use scientific facts in the mapping of human consciousness and as keys to the understanding of experience. This is an interpretative process. An art.
The art of astrology lies in the construction of accurate profiles of personality and relationship, through the skilled interpretation of symbolic patterns.
Science is testable, art is subjective. Astrology is an art, not a science.

No. Science requires, if not an explanation for why things are the way they are, experimental evidence to support the suppositions made by theorists. There is no evidence to show that being born at a certain time of year affects the way you are or that a certain planet being in a certain place in the sky will determine what kind of day you will have. In fact, innumerable statistical studies have shown that astrological predictions don't do any better than random guesses.

Astrology has many scientific properties. Research, documentation, hypotheses, etc...
But, no, I would not classify it as a science.
Why? Because it lacks too many of the elements that make science, well science. Things like:
Repeatability
Correlation between cause and effect
Objectivity
Essentially, Astrology is not a science because it is way too open to interpretation. Astrology is more of an art. Art can have scientific aspects to it, perspective in a painting, meter in a poem or music, etc... but the result of art is not necessarilly repeatable, and is 100% subject to interpretation.

Astrology does not involve experiment and observation. You do not see astrologers checking their predictions in a controlled fashion for confirmation.
Astrology is not empirical. Astrologers do not examine people's personalities first, and then attempt to correlate them with astronomical events. They merely announce that certain things are certain ways.
Astrology is not theoretical. A theory would be a small set of starting assumptions and the logical conclusions that derive from these. There is no such thing in astrology.
Astrology is ad hoc. There's no reason why Virgos are supposed to be introverted or why Scorpios are supposed to be seductive. Astrologers just pull all this **** out of their asses.
So no, astrology is not science. Science is experimental, empirical, theoretical, and not ad hoc.

Nope, the only thing it has in common with astronomy is that they both use the word 'Astro' so they both use stars and planets for observation.
However, the only thing science about astrology is "science fiction'

i wouldnt. astronomy yes because its a study of the stars, but not astrology. astrology is predicting the future based on the location of planets and stars. anybody can make something up. horoscopes for a gemini can apply to a taurus. but they are fun to read. astronomy is based on scientific research.

It could be considered a science, but not a 'pure' science like biology.
