Dr. Savage IMO is all about common sense, not remaining a slave to a political party.
One of the things I really liked about him is his ability to tell it LIKE IT IS, and not what people want to hear. tasering someone is absolutely silly especially since they were just protesting.
Come on people, America is NOT a third world country and should NOT approve of those kind of actions.

It comes down to when does free speech and being unruly draws the line to take action against any protester.
I believe when asked by a law authoritarian figure to conduct yourself appropriately and you start swinging your arms violently, then what would one expect? Addditionally, this is no small dude either, he is considered a threat to police by size and different means of getting him to comply "may" be needed.
This type of occurrence if not handled right away can lead to worst conduct by a bigger crowd. This took me back to when Vietnam war protesters were throwing rocks and anything they could at police and military, and officials reacted and started to shoot people in a crowd to disburse the event. Not even hitting those who were responsible for the misconduct.
I believe that the only mistake made was he should have been tazered while he was acting incoherent and violently.
God forbid if this was a black student, for most they would be singing a different tune.
A picture says a thousand words.

i did not get any aye discernment from any of the uproar over this subject that is going on. Is it any ingredient new in those allegation in Indian political sympathies? Is it the 1st time that those allegements have surfaced? Is any political party been excused from those allegements? could desire to we remind Indian leaders approximately "He who's with out sin, forged the 1st stone"? acquaintances, we the so stated as solid voters have unremittingly bucked up those politicos. Is my this arrogate not real? not we responsible for sending over 35% crooked parliamentarians to our parliament? If we deliver such great style of crooked individuals to parliament, clearly we can see corruption interior the country. What ever we sow that's what we are going to get. i individually discover it nonmeaningful, to shield the two political party over corruption no remember if in parliament or in this communicate board. If everyone says that his or her party is far less corrupt, i detect that persuasion as little slanted. prefer you all an quite colourful Holi.

These rent a cops get carried away and they can be sued. They are a sorry profession. Their training is lame and most are not that smart to be real officers.
Leave Law Enforcement to those that are real Peace Officers since they are true professionals with a have a proven history of always going beyond the call of duty.
Also I support all unions that support Peace Officers who do the dirty work of business owners and politicians

You are mistaken in your impression that Michael Weiner aka "Michael Savage" is a hard-core right winger. He has little to no values that can be ascribed to classical US conservative political theory. Mr. Weiner has another dogma that you have probably heard hundreds of times from him: Borders, Language, Culture. To the degree that this dogma overlaps with the neoconservative ideology currently in vogue is debateable, but it cannot be denied that he has political supporters like Tom Tancredo and John Culberson; nevertheless, Mr. Weiners policies fall well short of anything resembling true Conservatism.

Why would it be surprising; when the simple fact that most persons carry the same rights. Of course, there are some elites, and who are the skulls and bones.
The police were 'empowered' years ago; its a matter of legislation where they were empowered, and not any longer deemed to "protect and serve", consider the legislative source, please.
Misdemeanors are not felonies.

Comply? The guy had six cops on him and begging not to be tazed.
That happened b/c of the content of his question...not b/c he jumped ahead in line. Cops did not appear until after he asked S & B question.
This is a matter of free speech and something everyone should be concerned about.

As soon as the kid, started disobeying the rules of that forum, he was tresspassing.
He was ask to leave, he refused.
He was being escorted off the premises, when he started becoming violent and started trying to assault the officers.
What did he think was gonna happen.?
People act like the kid had some kind of right to take over that forum and demand they do things his way.
Well he found out different.
So now, besides jail time, he will be expelled from school.
I hope he likes flipping burgers, cause thats all he gonna be able to do , from now on.

If the student would have complied, he would never have been tazed. He had more than ample time to comply and decided he was above the law and refused to do what was asked of him. Personally I don't care what Dr. Savage thinks, but many people from both sides of the isle agree with him.

I watched the video of it, and it looks to me, like the questions section was over. The kid wouldn't sit down and shut up. That is enough to have him removed from the event. He was obviously resisting. I wouldn't have tazered him though. It looked to me like there were enough guards there to cuff him and carry him out. I don't care how liberal you are, when the cops tell you to do something (even if they are rent-a-cops) you had better do it or face the consequences. They gave him the opportunity to sit down, and he chose not to.
