No it's not hypocritical. Gore just know's what best for us, and therefore is entitled to better thing. Besides, he sells indulgences, er, uh, carbon credits to offset his hypocrisy, er, uh, carbon emissions.
Just remember, do as they say, cause they know best, not what they do, cause they break their own rules.
