Seven is a good choice.
I would have to say The Exorcist - the original because it scared the s**t out of me!

The scariest movie I ever saw, and continue to see again when my folks trot it out, is a super 8 transfered to CD of my potty training. I'm afraid to bring any new ladies by the house since they always have to show the old home movies.
They say they won't. but they sneak it in. I'm wise to them now and I tell the new gal what is coming, but it don't help when they actually see my tiny little body sitting on the throne trying with all my might to pass a load. (I was bribed to dump. A cup of vanilla ice cream if I launched a load in the bowl and not in my diaper.)
The four movies of me straining with might and main, almost popping a small vein in my tiny forehead, are so scary to me that I can't eat afterwards. And then I have to put up with the soon to be ex-old lady laughing at my small, pink, naked body on the training seat. It's more than a man should have to put up with. Hope this did not bring back memories of scary pictures the folks have of YOU! God Bless. Ciao!

The scariest is The Exorcist but it's not my favorite. Seven is not a scary movie.

The best movie for me (or at least the longest running) has to be Children of the Corn. I watched it for the first time when I was four and my older brother was babysitting and he made me watch it with him. I still (20+ years later) get freaked out with corn fields.
But exorcist is good too. I really like her speaking in tongues and stuff. Totally freaky.

The Thing from another planet starring James Arness. Because there are so many great scares in it and I live in Maine so we get some pretty bad snow storms and I can relate in that way with the people in the movie.

Seven and Psycho were more suspenseful than scary, in my opinion.
The scariest movie of all time...hmm...probably the spice girls movie.

Exorcism of Emily Rose because I couldnt sleep for days after I saw that movie. I would wake up and wait for it to be 3:00 am and smell smoke. Never happened (thank God) but it was scary waiting!

The Uninvited. Its a 1944 movie with Ray Millan about a haunted house. Watch it with the lights out. It will scare you.
