Very good point but there is absolutely no economic advantage to removing Mugabe such as he has not got any oil! The UK screams about tyranny and human rights but backs the worst offenders of tyranny, examples of this can be seen in Saudia Arabia, Uzbeckistan, Turkmenistan and many more. They are simply not interested in human rights it is just something to exploit conveniently when needed.

Despite all that mugabe is and does now. He was once a great man who won the respect of his people and the people of his neighbouring nations. Only difference is while the other african heroes who achieved independance and quit when they lost elections. mugabe has not.
it seems the western powers are hoping that the deposing of mugabe can be done without warfare and that it cna be achieved by zimbabwes neighbours

He hasn't got any oil. The good old U.S of A would have been in there to spread democracy, and get rid of that nasty little dictator long ago if he had.
