1.My grandmothers death, my moms illness, my illness, 9/11, my sisters accident . These were things that pretty much molded who I am now. I am stronger for it, but would love to take them back.... but I can't. The hardest thing is letting go.

2. Casablanca, Roman Holiday, Amelie, Life is Beautiful, Scarface, The Godfather, Pride and Prejudice, The Scarlet Letter, Ever After.... These movies stay with you forever. They had such an impact on me and are probably the best movies, in my opinion, ever made.

3. I love Lucy, The Honeymooners, Damages, Nip/Tuck, Friends.... Great television. I love these shows.

4. The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, Queen, Green Day, The Offspring, Elvis, The Beatles, Paramore, The Smashing Pumpkins, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin..... All Legendary and Timeless.

5. Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Susan B. Anthony, Franklin D. And Eleanor Roosevelt, Dorothea Lange are still remebered today because they were so wonderful. They will be remembered always.

1. The collapse of communism, because it finally proved beyond any doubt the superiority of market economies. The Great Depression and the subsequent explosive growth of gov't, because it marked the beginning of when Americans started to view their gov't as the solution to all their problems. And the evolution and widespread adoption of the Internet, because it has fundamentally changed and advanced our world.
2. "Until the End of the World," a Wim Wenders film. The Lord of the Rings trilogy. And the Matrix trilogy.
3. Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica (the new series), and in 3rd place there are probably half a dozen anime series that would tie.
4. Metallica before they sold out to RIAA, Duran Duran, and ZZ Top. I'd probably throw in Peter Gabriel too. 80's all the way, baybee!
5. As a lifelong libertarian, anti-authoritarian and minarchist (one who favors minimal gov't, short of anarchy), I can honestly say I don't really have any favorite leaders. I actually view most politicians as harmful to the general welfare.

I'm a male, born in 1971.
