Very clean nice city. University of Vermont is there. It's got a great lakefront and really great bike trails. It gets cold in the winter though.

I have heard of Burlington, Vermont and wanted to go there when I would visit Montreal - But I do not know anyone who lives there. Would love to see what it offers and all that. I think it's be great to give it a go!

I've been there, and I liked it a lot. It's a big college town, with a pretty funky atmosphere. Kind of like Boulder, Colorado, and Madison, Wisconsin in that sense. Lake Champlain is right there, and it's beautiful, and you are only a ferry ride from the Adirondacks.

Vermont is an interesting place anyway -- it takes a certain mindset, as it is an independent group of people that live there. OK, it is cold, but that's part of life too.

Yes, I have heard of Burlington, VT. I live only about an hour away. It has a nice waterfront park and Church Street Market Place is nice too.
