Ok...my bf and I had sex 14 times this weekend w/o protection. I had my period two weeks ago and my cycle has been 40-44 days...I am really hoping...when should I use a hpt?? Thanks!

Wow, that's a long cycle. If you just had your period two weeks ago and your cycles have been 40-44 days it's most likely you haven't even ovulated yet. You ovulate around 2 weeks before the next period - not necessarily two weeks after your last one. So, you would be ovulating most likely between days 25 and 30. Keep trying.
p.s., take the hpt when you are expecting your next period to come.

that is way more than recommended if you were just "doing it" for that purpose. you should have sex every other day starting 5 days before you ovulate. doing so more than that decreases the quality and quantity of sperm delivered. you need to buy an ovulation predictor kit to find out when you are ovulating. with such a long cycle you probably did not ovulate this weekend nor will you in the next five days.

Wow! 14 times, I sure hope you are planning to have a child if you didn't use protection once. I suggest getting a test done soon before your next period. Best of luck
