That's been my experience, all the time.

People who are comfortable with what they know, be it academic, or in a special vocation, usually are not in that plane of thought, feeling it necessary for others to notice or "acknowledge" how smart they are. Knowledgeable ones seek not the opinions or approval of others, they're content, and really don't care to make being "smart" or "clever" a topic for discussion. That's trivial and juvenile. Do you think the Dalai Lama makes it his mission to make sure people are made aware of his incredible knowledge and outlooks on life? Not bloody likely. : )

sadly no. they are too stupid to realize they are stupid, going around telling everyone how smart they are.

another trend I find amusing is when someone tells another YOUR stupid.

anyway, some of them seem to answer with only an opinion of the questioner and provide nothing else at all, then end their answer with "your stupid and not worth my time." I love it!

I don't know. Intelligent people don't really talk about it too much. Why do educated people compare education with intelligence, and ignorance with stupidity? Just because a person is educated does not mean they are more intelligent, there are alot of stupid freaking lawyers and doctors out there.
