I've just been listening to led zeppelin's kashmir... what uses the intro/background song/beat?

Sorry this is so vague but hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about.

Has it been in a film, advert, video game or another song?

I know it was recently sampled in a song by P. Diddy. I admit that didn't please us older fans too much.

The background music has been used in countless promos all over the world. Physical Grafitti was a breakthrough for the Zepps and Kashmir was the forerunner getting lots of airplay..and it wasn't out on single. Strange because when one asks about the title of the album..they'll automatically jump to that track to name it before the actual title.

It's Basically guitar, bass and drums with overdubbing. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant released a cd and dvd titled unleded that has a version with an orchestra. Also, a couple years ago they released a Cd/dvd called how the west was won with both having a live version of Kashmir

well thats one of the most amazing songs of Zeppelin, but unfortunatly, The rappers of our era are so not creative that they just take someone else's big hits and they redo it, like cmon, you cant redo a classic! It pisses me off, but I'm not sure what you are talking about , but hope the other dudes will answer it lol take care

John Paul Jones did most of the work on that song. I hope he gets the royalties due from the sampling you are talking about...
