I'm having trouble with the following questions.
1] x^4+2x^2+1
2] 8x^2+10x+3
3] 2x^2+7x-4
4] x^3+3x^2-x-3
5] (x-1)^7/2 - (x-1)^3/2

Thanks so much for helping, and I was wondering if there's a good website that could easily explain how to do these problems...

1] x^4+2x^2+1 = (x² + 1)²

2] 8x^2+10x+3 = (4x + 3)(2x + 1)

3] 2x^2+7x-4 = (2x - 1)(x + 4)

4] x^3+3x^2-x-3 = (x - 1)(x + 1)(x + 3)

5] (x-1)^7/2 - (x-1)^3/2 = [(x - 1)^(3/2)] (x² - 1)
= [(x - 1)^(3/2)] (x - 1)(x + 1)
= [(x - 1)^(5/2)] (x + 1)

1] x^4+2x^2+1 = (x^2+1)^2
2] 8x^2+10x+3 = (4x+3 )(2x+1)
3] 2x^2+7x-4 = (2x -1)(x+4)
4] x^3+3x^2-x-3 = x^2(x+3) -(x+3) = (x^2-1)(x+3)
5] (x-1)^7/2 - (x-1)^3/2 = (x-1)^3/2((x-1)^2 -1)
= (x-1)^3/2((x^2-2x)= x(x-1)^3/2(x-2)
