Michigan Girl,
I am a USC Fan - reason is simple for me - I went there and had the academic experience of a lifetime. I really miss Southern California both the school and that part of the State. I became a fan of Southern Cal as a kid, it just stayed with me and I anticipate will until...?
I enjoyed the question and hope that Michigan will turn all of this "karma" around next season with a new coach.
For this YOU get a star!

Blue. Freshman orientation I went over to the big hole in the ground and was just blown away. It could seat everyone from my hometown with 30000 to spare and its the largest city in the state. I saw Ron Johnson run for 5 TDs in the rain when there were only 5000 people left in the stands. He set the NCAA rushing record and saved the season. I saw the 1969 upset of Woody's greatest team. In five years I saw two home losses, same as what a current UM freshman has witnessed in consecutive weeks! I have seen miracle comebacks and heartbreaking losses. I saw a team with no losses and a tie get shut out of any bowl game. I have been to a lot of Rose Bowl losses and one win, the 97 victory for a share of the national championship. I have followed this team for 40 years and never, never! a losing season. Seldom is this team out of a game at the end. They sometimes fail to meet expectations, and sometimes they exceed them. The program is run well with few embarrassing incidents. I fly a big M flag in front of my house. I am very proud to be a Michigan Wolverine fan.

.I went to USC and I am a big fan! We're going to win the championship AGAIN this year! My girlfriend is from Ann Arbor so by default, I like Michigan too. Actually, my two favorite teams are USC and whoever plays Notre Dame. (Note to Michigan fans: Thank you for last Saturday! I only hope the Notre Dame quarterback had a flat tire on the way home!)
LSU has a football team?!?!?! Really?! I'm sorry, I must have been blinded by the shine off all our Heisman Trophies and championship trophies.

i am a die hard n.m.s.u. aggie fan. i am from n.m. and i went to school there. i also love the rutgers from n.j. i lived in east brunswick for three years. i never went to a game, but because they sucked and no one really liked them is what drew me to them. i guess you can say i am an huge underdog fan. the aggies will most likely never make it to a bowl game. i am fine with that. it is not going to make me like them any less. like i said i am a die hard fan. i lose and win with my teams. you sound like a die hard fan too. good for you.

i am an ohio state fan....i live in columbus so thats one reason but my mom is an osu fan my dad is an *** so i just wanted to be with my mom so thats how it formed...she took me to my first game when i was 7yrs old we walked for what seemed like miles..we didnt have a car at the time so we hoofed it and we sat in the one of the highest parts of the stadium...she bought me a big foam finger and a jersey to wear(it was from a thrift store it didnt matter i thought it was the coolest)i was cheering and flinging my foam finger about and a guy behind me told me to sit down and stop waving the finger around my mom heard him and said my son is a fan and he is showing his spirit if he wants to cheer then you stand up so you can see over him and then she said if you ever talk to my son again i will choke the piss out of you...lol so since then i have been a big fan...i took my son to his first game when he was 7yrs old im 32 now my son is ten.. but osu was getting beat and he asked why the people were leaving so early the games not over..i told him some people dont like to see their team loose..and some want to get a jump on traffic..he looks at me says ok then proceeds to get up and start yelling at the top of his lungs you arent real osu fans...real fans like their teams even if they stink...i was embaressed and proud at the same time and the college aged kids sitting behind us and the people around us started cheering and yelling for my son it made him blush and smile but people started looking around wondering what these people started cheering about and they told them around our section and my son was so proud...as was i..when we were walking back to be picked up my son even wanted to get an autograph from one of the band memebers...so thats why i like osu sorry this story has to come from a fan of the buckeyes but hey its all about the family and what osu does to unite mine...
