I just discovered I have a termite problem, can you suggest some tips on how to get rid of them?

Is there an easy concoction or home made repellant you could suggest

Most termites are sub-terrainian (underground). Others are deeply imbedded in
timbers, 2 x 4s, 4 x 4s, hardwood flooring, open-beam ceilings, etc.

Your best solution: Call a professional exterminator. It doesn't take long for
termites to multiply and cause extensive, expensive damage to structures.

none that i have heard of, get some spray at a garden shop, spray spray, then spray again
