1. Marine sedimentary bedding. I really don't understand your question.
2. Dolostone is always (!) deposited in a marine environment. The only type of non-marine environment might be a saline lacustrine environment. Dolostone, and its cousin limestone, are secreted by marine invertebrates building their shells. Although some carbonates are deposited by over-saturated (marine) environments, they are the exception, not the rule.
