I live in Nashville and love this team more than anything else that's worth seeing here, so I am very subjective about this matter. What do you guys think and why?

Well, the matter was discussed today at the NHL meetings and things still don't look good. IN order to be able to buy the team, the group has asked for several concessions from the city, and Nashville has yet to meet these concessions.

So, the vote on the sale has been delayed.

Jim Ballisilie, the co-CEO of learn in action, which makes the Blackberry, has agreed to words to purchase the Nashville Predators. He tried in the previous this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days to purchase the Pittsburgh Penguins, yet that fell by. The Predators will play in Nashville the day gone by, yet whilst Ballsilie buys the gang he will probably flow it to the Kitchener-Waterloo section in southern Ontario interior of a pair of years. He had comparable plans for the Penguins. The sale remains difficulty to the league's approval.

No and I'll tell you why. Because hockey doesn't belong in Nashville. I'm a hockey purist and having teams in Nashville, Atlanta(who didn't support the Flames), Dallas(who left a hockey crazy area), Florida, Phoenix, and most of all Carolina. I lived in the Raleigh-Durham area and until the 'Canes made the finals no one gave a flip about them. Then the season after when they were horrible, no one gave a flip about them. Get hockey out of these towns and put it back in Winnipeg and Hartford. Bring back the Whale!!!!!

I'm happy for the Nashville fans that their team is staying, but I think it's not fair to Jim Ballsille. He tried to get a team twice and Gary Bettman never even considered his deals. He didn't care if Ballsille offered more money. He didn't care if the Preds were moving, as long as it was in the States. And he pratically forced Ballsille out of the Pens deal. I think it's totally unfair to Ballsille and Canadians who just want another team. I am absoluately against Bettman and I would love it if he just f**ked off!!!!!!!!!

im kind of torn on this
one side says i think they should have moved, because they should be in a market where they would be appreciated. one where money could be made, and have happy owners.
the other side says, that while nashville doesnt sell many tickets, the ones they do sell are going to real loyal die hards, that dont deserve to lose the team. if they could make it work in nashville, and sell tickets, then keep the team in nashville. but realistically, if they lose as much money as the old owner did, they cant just keep it there forever
sooner are later they'd be forced to either sell or relocate themselves

To me, if a bunch of rich and loaded doctors/lawyers have to spend their own money to keep that team in town, that town doesn't deserve a team. Nashville will return to having a very low fan base in about 5 years.

If they can keep the support and keep fans in the seat I am all for it. Dont think it will happen but its worth a try. Remember it is still Nashville.

No fans deserve to lose a team. I'm not a Preds fan, but I'm an ex-Winnipegger and we've lost a team and I think it stinks.
