the fastest are Kawasaki ZX14. Suzuki Hayabusa (there is a new one for 2008), Honda Blackbird, the new Kawasaki Concours (probably the fastest touring bike). Ducati 1098. Any one liter sport bike from Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda. you must really want to get rid of the old man?

Well, of course Harley is the most preferred American brand. Triumph rules the roost from the UK, and is the oldest motorcycle company currently manufacturing bikes. Indian will begin selling motorcycles again in 2008. Ducati is tops in sports bikes, and has that Italian charm. BMW makes der Germans proud, and is the preferred blue-blood ride. Yamaha would be my favorite Japanese make, though all those brands are about the same, IMHO.
How's that?

ahhh skip my last comment, I didnt understand the question. Harleys hold their value better. Sorry guys dont get mad at me, its the truth.A nice Harley is the street glide, has a half windshield, tunes and looks sweet.
