umm i don't remember, but i know it has to do with natural logs. so maybe the natural log of x squared is equal to the natural log of 5/3... but it's been awhile...

The trick is to use logarithms. I've attached a website that explains it in detail.

You need to use logs...
log(2^x)=log(3/5)
xlog(2)= log(3) - log(5) because log(a^b)= (b)log(a) , and log(a/b)=log(a) - log(b)
x = [log(3) - log(5)]/log(2) multiplying both sides by 1/log(2)

The arithmetic is up to you... or you can let somebody do it for you...
