How funny I wasn't the only one watching Oprah,
Yeah I will research more into it.
I have 0 negative blood and since my husband is AB positive I had to have the Rhogam shot when I was pregnant which use to have thimerosal/mercury in it. I found out that they stopped putting mercury in it a couple of years ago and I even asked the nurse for the box so that I could read what was in it just to make sure I had a current dose.

Current research points to autism being caused prenatally.

In Japan, they eliminated the MMR vaccine for 10 years. There was no change in the rate of autism diagnoses. They reintroduced the vaccine and still no change in diagnoses. Experts viewed hundreds of family home videos and found that infants as young as 1 month (and well before any vaccinations) exhibited signs of autism.

While it is always possible that mercury is a cause, it is more likely that environmental mercury would be the culprit.

My cousin's ex-gf has 3 children with autism (all different fathers). Two had no vaccinations until the age of 4, although they were diagnosed with autism at 2. My brother also has autism and clearly had it before getting any vaccines (age 1.5).

I have no issues with delaying vaccines and I personally would do so, but for my personal reasons and no 'support data'. You can also ask your doctor if the vaccination that the child is getting is free of Thimersol. You should also be aware that much of the information on vaccinations and even medical stuff is way out of date.

Yes I researched, and vaccinated. Autism is NOT death. My children have Autism, not caused by vaccines. They were born with Autism.

Stories of autistic characteristics date back to the 1700's and earlier. Autism is a neurological difference. Before Autism had a name, children were labeled deaf, mentally retarded, and many other things. There were autistic children and adults before Dr Leo Kanner named it, and before vaccines. The only reason some want to link the two is because Dr Leo Kanner named autism not long after vaccines were developed. The only way to be sure your child will not have any delays or problems is to not have children.

If a pregnant woman contracts rubella (german measles), her child will probably have autism and/or a host of other problems. This can be prevented by the MMR vaccine. Vaccines have wiped out many diseases that our children will never have to worry about running into.
