Please. Most "liberals" are intelligent agnostics disinterent with montheism on the basis of sound psychological science. Most know that Islam and christianity has stark and pervese similarities in their histories.

Christianity and Judaism and Islam have been perverted by the fundamentalists in an effort to control the people of the world and to try and get rid of those who don't believe as they do!

There are those of us on the left who think that the religious have polluted the world and are dangerous.
When every person was born it was without a manual of how to live this life! Man has created these manuals not some unseen God or Allah or Yahweh or whatever you've wrapped your mind around to try and explain things people don't have answers to!

Answer this: If there is a divine 'God' and every religion believes that people like Jesus and Mohammed and Moses and others are messengers of that God, why would he (god) give them such different messages???

Islam has no longer something to do with the indisputable fact that they are criminals and might desire to be stopped. they could be Christian, Buddhist, or despite, we would nevertheless might desire to end them. asserting "Radical Islam" means that Islam itself is radical and that Islam is the clarification they are radical. It in the present day alienates all Islamic human beings affiliated with the U. S. in any way. they are purely attempting to handle the subject interior the final actual way. Because they are exactly who they are. The radical fundamentalist are the same the world over. I am a practicing Roman Catholic, fairly religious and am a liberal Democrat. I am not with Islam. I believe in and love the USA. You can't paint everyone with the same brush as the Christian fundamentalist do.
