I agree that it's a holdfast.
You have to give a specific example of something with a holdfast: kelp, Laminaria, Fucus, Ulva.
Function: anchors a multicellular alga to something solid to keep it from being washed away in the ocean.

The top picture on your sheet is a flagellum, but "eukaryotic cell" is not an example. Too general.
The organism in the picture is a dinoflagellate, but you might also say Euglena or Chlamydomonas. Look at pictures of these and you'll see what I mean.

I think it is called a holdfast. It is a structure that anchors the algae to rocks etc... Here is an exact definition: holdfasts - specialized tissue in many larger algae which function to attach the algae to its substrate (rocks etc.) It is used by brown algae.
