Most routers will have a web based admin page (generally http://192.168.1.1) that allows you to see the currently connected devices. By default, most routers don't seem to have extended logging enabled so you may want to see about turning that on.

You may want to consider enabling the security features on your router while your checking. You can do the following to help lock it down:
- Disable broadcasting your SSID (this will keep your network from broadcasting publicly)
- Enable WEP or better protocols (go with the highest option for your router for the best security available)
- Change your default password and even your default login.
- Restrict MAC addresses to the NICs on your hardware (yeah, MAC addresses can be spoofed, but this is will help keep the average user from connecting)

If you don't have your router's manual, please visit your router vendors website for the info. They should have it online or you can download it for offline viewing (incase you really mess up the router config).

Different routers have different means to see this.

simply see routers, access points log. or make a ping.bat file and use commands "ping 192.168.1.1" to "ping 192.168.1.254". u will se how many adresses could be pinged succesfully ;)

You can use a "ping sweep" program such as "Netscan" to see all active IP addresses on your network.
