Looks like you got the right answers already on the first two.

On the last one. "with a small 3" is to the third power, which I will show like this ^3

(2xy - z^3)/z

Divide both terms by z . This is the distributive property

(2xy)/z - z^3/z

(2xy)/z - z^2

That's it. Since you don't have a full equation, you can't just multiply it by z. That would completely change the value of the expression. You just have to leave that z under the 2xy.

1. 5x
2. two times n to the third power plus 12
3. do you mean a) 15/3*5-4 squared or b) 15/ (3*5-4 squared)
a) 9 b) -15
4. (2xy-z^3)/z
(2xy/z) - (z^3/z)
(2xy/z) - z squared (can be left off here for some uses)
can then:
((2xy/z) - (z^2))*z (to get z out of the denominator
2xy - z^3 (aka (2xy - z to the third power)

5x

2n sub 3 plus 12

15/(3*5 -4^2)

(2xy -zsub3)/z

a small n or small z is what i have taken to mean a subscript. Sorry if my assumption is wrong.

5x

2n^3 +12

15/(3x5-4)^2

2xy-z^3/z- you can't evaluate because it's not an equation
