My Now Deleted Answer and Violation Notice Basis:
Your screwing around with "fabric of the universe" kind of stuff there missy. It's the push/pull, ying/yang, opposites attract theory and if you keep it up we'll all be blown to hell in a handbasket ! Go stick your finger in the socket instead, same result but only you learn the secret...

Your avatar is very attractive!!!! The violation system is totally broken in Yahoo Answers, and their new FAQ admits to that. They do sound like they are trying to fix the problem lately, but it was so bad for so long it will be a while until there is any real progress.

It's the Yahoo Answers Team's fault, those morons can't tell a valid report of abuse from harassment filed by a troll. They have no sense of humor and, unfortunately for those of us that like to add humor to our answers, they give out notices of violation left and right.

I feel your pain. Got two (2) myself just this week. One, I asked people here in Polls & Surveys what they wanted for dinner and, in the other, I asked about their precious pet Judas Rabbi's middle name.

I know they protect Rabbi but what's wrong with asking about dinner? Welcome to YaHELL.

I think I'll have some bumper stickers printed that say "If it makes no sense it's Yahoo."

oh too bad. It was a nice answer. Some people are just too touchy. This is what you get when you tell someone without a sense of humor to put a finger in the socket...

lol..tetnically it was violating the community guidelines...by telling her to stick her finger in the socket....but it's still funny.
I've had my fair share of violation notices, & I still don't know why any of them were deleted. I don't know how they were violating, & when I pressed the reply if you think this is a mistake I sent them a message. & all they did was say thank you for notifying us.

Even if a question doesn't have common sense it is still a question and is not in violation of the rules.
