Leave it the way it is.
She will hate having to spell her name for everyone if you mess with the spelling.
It's a great name--just leave it the way it is though.

I have to say this before I suggest anything. If you're planning on messing with Nicole- don't. One of my two best friends growing up was named Nicholle and she DAILY had problems with people misspelling and mispronouncing her name. Spelling 'Nicole' different will not make the child unique- a child makes the name unique.
