While on vacation in PA recently we ate at Hoss's twice. I found them excellent. The food was very good. The set up was very nice, and the people very friendly. I wish we had them here in NY. Also we ate at a place called Isaccs. What wonderful sandwiches they had.

One was on the way into Gettysburg coming from the Lancaster area and the other was in a little town called Exton or Exon on the way into Valley Forge.

So far they are only in Central and Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia.
I love them too. I think their steaks have great seasoning, and I especially love the apple butter on the salad bar.

hosses are limited to central pa area,but are growing rapidly.i remember when the very first one opened about 20 years ago in duncansville pa.between the pittsburgh area down to harrisburg area. i love the salad bar.

I live in jersey and have never heard of Hoss's....My dad just moved to PA.....Where in PA did you go to Hoss's?
