This is really gross. I burned my finger this morning pressing my hair because i'm clumsy and my finger bubbled up on me. Well, just a sec ago, I had my hand in between my legs and was kind of sitting on it reading something on the computer and it burst. What is this liquid? It doesn't smell like anything and it has no color?

Thanks.

the clear liquid inside your blister is called LYMPH FLUID. It is supposed to protect the newly forming skin under the burn while you heal. It is not harmful to you if it leaks out, because it is your own body's fluid. A new blister will probably form to protect the still healing burn. DO NOT intentionally break the blister because infection could result. It is a good idea to wash the area where the blister burst with mild soap and warm water and you could put a loose gauze bandage over it to protect it from infection. It is a good idea to see your doctor if you still have concerns.

It's just water. It's just like getting an other blister that fills up with water and oozes when it's popped. Sounds gross, but you'll be okay. Go clean the skin out really well, and then put some neosporin or triple antibiotic on it to prevent infection.

Hope this helps. :-)
