So, would you prefer to have a high best answer percentage (50%+) but a lower points total, or a high points total (10,000+)
but a lower best answer rate (5%-).
Also which do you feel is more imortant to have and is more impressive for other people to see.

I just want to always answer questions to the best of my ability. Getting a lot of best answer ratings is more or less a popularity contest. I try to always give what I believe is the right answer realizing not everyone is going to agree. I try to speak my convictions.
For example, if I am answering a question in say the romance section, if someone is showing a lack of morals, I am going to comment on that. I know it will not make me popular but it is my conviction.

You can have an enormous amount of points by answering Hi! to every question.
But to get best answers takes al lot of effort and is an indication that people appreciate your answers, opinions ideas, humour or way of thinking.
If people say that they don't care about best answers or even a comment to their answers then I don't know what they are doing here.

Best Answers are more important to me, although I think points tend to be the most impressive to the majority on here.

Best answers b/c you could have a lot of points from riddles, and opinion questions but if you have more best answers people you really do have some kind of knowledge and can help people.

I don't mind either way, I am actually in it for the fun, Love to answer other peoples questions and ask the odd question myself. Yahoo just gives me, some me time and, a bit of escapism, just like the kids of today with MSN and Bebo.

Neither. When people send me hateful answers or I lose points it just means that I'm dealing with a very conceited individual that wallows in their own little world of misery when others refuse to agree with them.

If I had to choose it would be points. I want more points so I can get to a higher level and have an unlimited answering quota....but really I just want to laugh as well.....
