You can take a family leave of absence. By law, they cannot fire you because you are pregnant. They can hold your job for you until after the baby is born. Or, you can ask to be transfered to another department.

If you just started the job, there might not be too much you can do other than quit. You could try switching to another area of service like the service desk that checks people in, but even that can be too much for you with the heavy lifting, standing all day, and hateful people. It just never fails. Seriously anyone who's ttc should take notice, it's always when you absolutely cannot get pregnant right now that it happens.

There are laws depending on the state you live in governing job related rights during pregnancy. I live in California, and I know you cannot be fired from a job due to pregnancy, UNLESS you are physically unable to continue. In this case I think you can get disability pay. What kind of job is it? Good luck though!

you MUST tell your boss as soon as you are sure for your own protection. Do you have medical benefits? Perhaps ask if you can be a gate attendant when it is no longer possible for you to fly frequently safely. They CANNOT discriminate by firing you or you can sue and get a big settlement. Good luck to you, mommy to be !!
