your suggestions are well appreciated. I was thinking of something like L*exl*ey, if it was a girl... pronounced like Leslie, or some other "popular" name with the x used as a z or s. I'm not sure if that makes sense though...? Yes, no?

You could have 'Elix' instead of Alex?
Very cool idea about using your maiden name anyway!
Good luck and hope you find something you like.

Axel (pronounced Ahk-sel) is a cute and pretty common French name for a boy. It might be better as a middle name since it's kind of rare in English, but still, I think it's beautiful. The feminine form is Axelle and is pronounced the same way. Plus, it's easy to match with a first name! So I hope this could help you!

I think that Alexi is very cute for a girl, not exactly what you were looking for, but close. Another name is Drexl, for a boy or a girl. You could vary the spelling any way you want.

You can name your baby anything you want. when the nurse asks you the name , tell her you want to print it out for her so there is no mistake on the birth certificate. Congrstulations!!!!!
