Yes, I am a regular at my local blood bank. Good for you, I don't think people realize how important this gesture is.
Someones life may depend on it. I am proud of you!

yes, every 60 days or so. I have B Neg and its a little rare. So I try to give as often as I can.
I'm on the calling list too. If a hospital/clinic ever needs blood in an emergency, they can call me. That happened once a few years ago. Got called about 11 at night. Someone had needed blood, so I went to the hospital. I still get a card every year at christmas time from the guy I gave too.

I have honestly tried to. The first time I have tried to donate blood, I had a runny nose, and they thought it was a cold, so.... yeah. (it was allergies).

I used to but then a triage nurse seriously screwed up my arm trying to put in an IV and I've been scared of needles ever since.

I HAVEN'T DONE IS IN A WHILE....BUT I HAVE NO PROBLEM DONATING BLOOD....ITS A GOOD THING TO DO & ITS HEALTHY FOR YOU TOO.
