The only tool is a pot wrench (Ref. ZPM) which holds the pot in the gland and keeps it straight while you screw it on.

If they are fixed lengths of cable, there used to be a factory service that made them up for you.

Mineral insulated cable appears like extremely previous wiring. a million- whether it rather is two insulated conductors and a floor twine, then you strip lower back the mineral insulation and could see 2 plastic lined conductors and a bare copper twine (floor). There might desire to be a white twine and a black twine. 2- If the cable is around and not flat, the 0.33 twine might desire to be crimson. 3- the coloured wires (crimson and black) are the line or warm wires. 4- The white is easy (impartial) and the bare is floor. desire this facilitates - stable success and turn off the capability in case you will artwork in this circuit ! ! !
