Surely, you're not serious, are you? If so, you are one truly paranoid being. Stalin used this same line of "reasoning" to rid of "unpatriotic" dissidents within his rank and file.

Also, learn what socialism actually is before you start misplacing such a label upon those who do not share your distorted view of reality. Last time I checked, those who are, indeed, socialists have every right to participate in political discourse just as much as far-rightwing neoconservatives.

Joe McCarthy has, since the '50s, been the chief demon of the left. When he supplied the Senate with a list of government employees that he said were communists he was accused of conducting a witch hunt, hounded out of government and later committed suicide, although some would say he drank himself to death. After the fall of the USSR the KGB files were opened for examination by the west in the early 1990s. Those archives corroborated McCarthy's list 100%. He was correct in saying that those people were being paid by the soviets, and yet the left has never had the backbone and integrity to say that he was right.
