I am very early in pregnancy. 4 weeks today. On Sunday I noticed a tiny bit of light brown discharge when i wiped on the tp. Also some dark brown bits. It went away and I had nothing the following day. Today, Tuesday in the am, I noticed some more light brown discharge when i wipe. By the afternoon, it had gone away. I am NOT having any cramps. I did go to the MD, where they drew HCG and Progesterone. The nurse said brown blood is old blood. I was wondering what any of your experiences were like. I have had two pregnacies with nothing like this before. any thoughts???

I just got back from my local hospital going through the same thing...this is the second time I had a significant amount of brown blood discharge, i am almost 8 weeks along with my 4th, and never experianced blood during pregnancy before...they sent me in for an ultra sound, and blood work...and I saw the heart beat, and was told everything was perfect and not to worry....apprently this happens quite a lot. I am told not to worry but resting, and not over doing anything is probably a good idea...and just hang in there...since there isn't much else that can be done...Good luck!

I wouldn't be too alarmed. With my first pregnancy I experienced the same issues. With this pregnancy I am now 12 weeks and had brown spotting and bits of tissue through out all of these weeks. I am not sure if you have had an ultrasound yet since you are very early, however I would suggest it. In my case I found out the reason for the brown spotting is because I have a blod clot that is passing that is outside of the sac and not affecting the baby. Apparently it is very common and it happened with my first also. it is just old tissue passing as your uterus grows for your new little addition. If you are not cramping at all or have any lower back aches I wouldn't be too concerned. You can ask them to do weekly blood work up to see about your hormone levels to see they are still rising. My thoughts are with you, since I know how stressful it can be not knowing.

I had this happen around 6 or 8 weeks, can't remember which. I freaked out because I have had a miscarriage in the past. Since this is old blood, there is most likely nothing wrong at all. They did, however, put me on bed rest because of my previous miscarriage. I am 33 weeks 5 days pregnant now and have not had a problem since. Take care and don't worry, it is probably nothing. If you start to feel bad at all, go to the doctor! Otherwise, get lots of rest and relax.

Almay has the bright i-shade line for Brown eyes (additionally Blue, Hazel and eco-friendly) the Brown eyes set includes a pink eyeliner, a gloomy pink mascara and pink and brown eyeshadows. I even have brown eyes and have consistently chanced on pink-y colorings to make my eyes pop no remember if i purchase Almay or no longer. i be attentive to that Wal-mart now and lower back has a p.c.. with all 3 parts on sale for around $10. Eyeliner consistently helps and a gloomy shade (black, darkish brown, darkish pink, darkish eco-friendly, and so on) on the two suitable and backside lids will make every physique's eyes stand out. (I propose look how nicely-known guy-liner is!) outfits is a little greater durable to help with because of the fact that plenty is in accordance with hair shade and pores and skin tone. I even have darkish hair and medium pores and skin and get a good number of compliments once I positioned on maroons, pinks, and lavenders. sturdy success!

At around 4 weeks I noticed the same thing. Since week 6 I haven't seen it ever come back. I'm 9 weeks now and everything is going great and my ultrasound and everything came back normal! Good luck with your pregnancy. I just hope you don't have as bad morning sickness as I do! :)

I spotted with some of my pregnancies. If you are going to miscarry it NEVER stops, but continually gets worse.

MOST people spot during the first trimester. It's very normal. Contact your OB/GYN if it turns bright red or you start cramping.

Good luck :)

With every pregnany I had blood. It was due to polyps on my cervix. Not at all cancerous. The do bleed. They should have done an exam at the doctor to know for sure.
