I'm an Aussie so this'll sound strange...but I think it's great that Pakistan beat us!!

What I mean by that is, Australia has been on a big winning streak for a long time...and while that's all well and good...it makes the game mighty boring and predictable.

So to see the Pakis beat us was good - because it'll remind Ponting and the boys that we're not invincible!!

Australia can get a tad complacent at times...our batting seems to often be at one end of the extremes - that it'll either be an enormous score or a complete collapse of the order...so a bit more stability - especially in the top order might be handy.

Our bowling can be variable too...I personally don't like to greatly sing the praises of Lee...he's got potential, that's for sure - but he prides himself on blistering pace...but bowls a lot of wides for it. And in the one day match...when a run or two can decide the game...wides get costly.

Line and length will get you the wickets...Lee forgets that...intimidation only gets you so far before the batsman will just start hooking every bouncer.

Line and length like McGrath used to bowl will do the Aussie bowling a lot of favours - at the moment we really don't have a reliable workhorse of a fast bowler like McGrath was for so many years...we need one to hold back the onslaught.

I unfortunately didn't get to see the match so I'm going by what I've heard and seen in recent times...

It was a fantastic win by Pakistan. First their bowlers stuck to the task and restricted Australia to a modest total. When they batted, Shoaib Malik led from the front and made a century partnership with Misbah-ukl-Haq, which sealed the fate of Australia. In the Match against Sri Lanka also it was the century partnerwship between malik and Yunis Khan, which ensured thjeir victory.

So far Pakistan have done extremely well in nthis tournament.
Australkia have to defeat sri lanka if they have to qualify for the semi final.

Yes what a great result! Good for Pakistan after their 50 over WC disappointment earlier this year. Also very glad the Aussies lose for a while. Although they will come back with a vengeance.

Hey dude, plz remove your question yourself if you don't want to get a violation notice.
I will not report you brother but some kids here might do that. ENJOY!!!

Please try to be polite. Whatever you will say here will show a glimpse of your country's culture. Pakistan is a good country. Comments like this will prompt others to say bad things about your nation. Ok brother, please don't do this next time

What's the point - Twenty20 is not 'serious' cricket.
