We have an agreement that he made on the computer, but it doesnt really state the obvious. It covers his butt of course. I have a way out of it by stating teh the urine stink in the house is to much to bear and I am moving. Let me know what you think I can do.

SO should I just go with the hey you havenet replaced your stinky uring filled carpet and I am leaving due to hardship?

Legally, you are required to give 30-days notice if you are renting month-to-month. So, the landlord can keep all of the payment if he chooses. Or, he could be a nice guy and prorate the 2 weeks. But, I wouldn't count on getting the money back.

You need ti give a 30 day notice and it is unlikely he will give any part of the rent back.
