I have to admit there is a stack of them in mine.If one of these mails came from you, I'm sorry I've not replied yet.

My question is: Am I forgiven? x

Good news! I've just answered two of them.
I can see some of you think I am bad to not reply straight away. I do have a good excuse though. On average I recieve 15-20 mails a day just from friends and family in each of 2 mail boxes. So if you do the maths you will see why I am a bit behind! and I do so like to join in on ya as well. I have a real life to live too! lol x

I just answered the 2 I had before I came on here. I mostly use e-mail to keep up with family and friends that I live far away from. I like to answer them right away, so we can keep up with what's going on in each other's lives. Most other e-mails go into a bulk folder and I never open them, just delete them.

I'm sure you're forgiven by the folks you haven't answered, but bet they'd like to hear from you when you get time.

Hiya Sylvia. I have been really lazy at replying, and I just wanted you to know that, so you will not be wondering if you've accidentally deleted mine! NO, honey...I haven't written it yet! :)

You know what a sucker I am at teaching others how to use their computers, so I'll just take this time to tell "blue brancall" how to get into her Outlook Express...

Go to the home screen for your Internet provider (the company you are buying your internet access from). In my case it is Bell Sympatico. On their front page, you will notice a "mail" link. Press this. It will ask you to enter your email address...that is the email address that you have with Outlook Express. Then it will ask for your "password". The ONLY password they want is the one that THEY gave you when you set up your internet access account. It should be written down in the instruction booklet that they sent along with the modem and the discs that you used to load your internet access with. Once you have entered this password, you should have access to the mail in your Outlook Express account.

Happy reading!

Only the one my best friend sent last night but I intend phoning her later when she gets home, too much to tell her in an email and although emails are great it's still more personal to have a chat on the phone. My Husband will be spending most of this evening on his own as when I ring my friend we chat for hours and put the world to rights!

About 50 or so. I just don't feel like it some days. Some of them are so repetitive and boring. Usually I just forward them some where and delete most. I'm talking about the prayer chains with the bad luck threats and all that other patriotic crap that people go overboard with, really get a life.

Hi Sylvia, in spite of all the safeguards I still get loads of unwanted EMails every morning when I switch on, and throughout the day. I wish I knew how to stop them.If I've deleted a reply that you might have sent me I ask you to forgive me too.

I answer as I receive but not a letter of more than one subject.
I get a lot of bulk in my in-box which I delete without even reading. You seem very friendly I feel sure the friends will forgive you. Excuse me if I am intruding.

One of my addresses gets about 500 a day mostly spam I am going to close it down as soon as I have transferred all my contacts to my new one. It's not my yahoo address which is on the answers site and I deal with those every day

None. I have tactics to deal with them at work.

-Delete any that you are unlikely to use again.
-Highlight and clear daily the ones that are high priority.
-Categorise useful ones that don't need actioning.
-Flag less essential ones (e.g. reports to read) for those moments when you have spare work time- e.g. those 6 minutes before lunch when it's too late to start anything new.
