I started one months ago, maybe years I can't remember but working full time with 3 young kids, I can't seem to find time to get back to it.
What about you?

I wrote a booklet a little while back - it was given to, I thought were friends, for critique but got nothing in return. No one has contacted me in a very long while. Consequently, have moved on since by re-editing its contents to follow my own self-critique.
It isn't a novel as in tha 'classical writing' sense merely a personal account/autobiographically styled reading platter.
One day it will get finished, polished though am not sure as I don't know any publishers or the other side of the publishing industry itself, its a step away from actual creative writing.
Good luck with yours by the way.

Well although it doesn't strictly fall within your criteria, i am at present writing a book though not a novel. Let me explain more.
When i was a child i was always inquisitive and some of the grown ups used to tell me about the history and their memories of the village i grew up in their childhood. If i did that now i would like as not get accused of all sorts of shenanigans. So i am writing a potted history of my village as i knew it in the 1960s during my childhood, i am doing it as a walk through the village so you (in theory anyway) can walk through the village with the book and imagine it as it was. It has taken me about 5 years writing , rewriting and condensing to get just over half way through the village. I hope to have it finished in a couple of years in time for an important centenary in my village. So although not a novel the answer has got to be YES!

I have a novel a memoir and so many other things but I don't think I'm good enough to write it down. I would love to find a good shadow writer and get started. Some of it is dynamyte as I worked in the theatre in London for years. Just don't know how to gert started.

Oh Lord, YES! Several, as a matter of fact. I hope one day to be able to write just one of them! I've had fits and starts for years on any number of the stories in my head but I believe I'd be best to write something that is not fiction.

Yes, I've written loads. Still getting round to publishing them. I have plenty more novels in me and writing is something I cherish greatly, but I don't to make a living out of it.

I do, and I wrote it. Sadly, it is not sold. Still plan a major reworking of it.
A happy little horror story about a boy and nightmarish creature. It was based on a reoccurring dream I use to have. Write what you know. It is also fun, because you get to kill off some people you hated as a child.

I don't have any ideas for a novel but I do have an idea for a collection of short stories. I know that it's a really good idea and I hope to have the time to put it together someday.

I've written four. One is published. One was lost when my computer died. One is in revisions. And the fourth is being incorporated into something else. I don't know how many I have in me total, though. I hope at least five. :-)
